My Dream Is To Clean The Local Rivers

The government has been putting waste into the rivers since before I was born.

I live in Kansas City, Missouri, my local waterways are Blue River and BrushCreek.

They are very polluted with chemicals and trash and the government does nothing about this. And these waterways flood. When they flood lots of trash gets swept into the rivers. They have also built a sewer line into the river and continue to expand it. They have also paved the river for flood control. These things have a substantial impact on the riparian vegetation on the river. This means where water and land connect and vegetation grows by the water source.

What I'm trying to say is I want to clean the pollutants out of the rivers and everything around me because a lot of the trash comes from the ground and flows into the river. And I am going to change that.

That's my dream.
